For one day, residents of Rancho Anapra set aside their routines to receive the hubbub of the “Festival de Barrios”, the municipal program that aims to bring culture, art and shows to corners of the city where they rarely arrive.
The event also includes local artists, boxing exhibitions, taekwondo, folk dance and multiple expressions of art and sport.
The director of Culture of the Municipality, Miguel Angel Mendoza, assured that the event has taken to five other colonies.
The official said that the inhabitants of the areas farthest from the urban spot call for such events, which are commonly carried only to downtown areas.
The “Festival de Barrios” began this time at one in the afternoon and lasted for four hours at the Anapra community center, where workshops were also offered.

The municipal authorities will take the Festival de Barrios next Saturday, October 28 to the Community Center Kilometer 27 of the road to Casas Grandes, where municipal president Armando Cabada will head the third Independent Fair of Municipal Services, it was reported.
There the artistic program will be composed of “The godchildren”, “Pit and Pit”, Grupo Estribo and Los Frontera.
For the 4th of November the Festival will be held at Frida Kahlo, with the presentation of the Folk Dance Ballet of Ciudad Juárez, Chaveña Records, Carlos Quevedo, Alan García, Grupo Estribo and Los Silver.
While on November 11 will visit Samalayuca, where they will present Chaveña Records, Pit and Pit, Grupo Estribo and El Cachorro de Sinaloa; in Riveras del Bravo, on November 18, the program will be composed by Chaveña Records, Alan García, Carlos Quevedo, Alto Impacto and Sonand Skándalo.
